The GlycoCheck technological device is a patented, non-invasive, FDA cleared Class I Medical
Device (and Software System), which is defined as, “can cause no harm”. It is a hand-held video
microscope that will show live video, and analyze and objectively report a single, overall
Microvacscular Health Score™. Glycocheck analyzes glycocalyx, endothelium, and shows the
true capillary function of an individual’s microvascular system. There is no radiation with this
device.
Please note that this non-invasive GlycoCheck test (live video) will only take about 5-6 minutes
from start to finish, and then another 5-6 minutes for the Microvascular Health Score to print out.
The person being scanned simply holds the video microscope under their tongue while watching
their own blood cells (blood cells are 7 microns in diameter) traveling through various sized
capillaries, including the smallest sized capillaries which are only 4 microns in diameter. To give
you an idea as to how small is a 4-micron capillary, over 200 of these 4-micron sized
capillaries will fit in the inside diameter of one single strand of hair.
